Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CedarShift Systems (“CedarShift,” “we,” “us”) handles information when people visit our website or businesses and their authorized employees use CedarShift products and services.

Information we process

Depending on the service used, we may process website inquiry details; company administrator contact and billing information; employee display names and usernames; session names; filenames; photos selected or captured through a CedarShift product; activity timestamps; device and browser information; and service diagnostics.

Website inquiries

When you submit our contact form, we process your name, email address, optional phone number and message so we can respond. A form-processing provider delivers inquiries to our CedarShift business inbox. We do not sell inquiry information or use it for third-party advertising.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve CedarShift products; administer company workspaces and paid seats; protect accounts; answer inquiries; support customers; maintain service reliability; and comply with legal obligations.

Google Drive

When a company administrator connects Google Drive, CedarShift Capture will access only the files and folders authorized for use with that product. Photos may be uploaded to the customer-selected Drive location. Google account information and Drive content are not sold or used for advertising.

Employee activity information

Company administrators may view operational records such as session name, photo count, image range, timestamps and completion status. Customer organizations are responsible for informing employees about workplace monitoring and using these records lawfully.

Storage and retention

Active sessions may be stored locally on the device for recovery. Company records are retained for the period needed to provide the service or as configured by the customer. Customers control files stored in their Google Drive. Browser or device storage may be removed by clearing site data.

Service providers and transfers

We may use vetted providers for website forms, hosting, authentication, payments, email and cloud integrations. Information may be processed outside the customer’s province or country where those providers operate, subject to applicable contractual and security protections.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Customers are responsible for controlling administrator access, issuing appropriate employee credentials and removing access promptly when employment changes.

Your choices

Company administrators may request access, correction or deletion of account information, subject to legal, security and recordkeeping requirements. Google authorization can be revoked through the customer’s Google account settings.
